Hi All,

I'm new to the forum and looking for help already. My 1999 1.8i Freelander is starting to cut out when driving. It'll just stop, there will be no power to the display, the ignition just turns over although the radio will still be playing and indicators will work. After a few minutes the power just comes on and it'll be back to normal. It's got so dangerous I haven't driven it as the last time it happened I was coming out of a junction and had to coast with no power stearing to the side of the road.

Would anyone know what could be causing this?
