Hi everyone, need a bit of info, if someone can. what are the settings on a 2.5 v6 auto box. First land rover and first auto... many thanks. I know the obvious one p.r.n.d , when i pull the selector right it lights up s,m. many thanks .

with lever towards left - usual auto box as yu describe.
with lever to right yu are in Sports/Manual mode - ie it revs higher in each gear - its a good way to check the box coz if it dont change nice and smooth its got a problem, usually it changes down then up instead of just up!! - or you can use it as a manual sequential box - nice when yu is hoofing it.
If yu are going to tow with it - get an aftermarket oil cooler for it.

Yus like the bloke with the daft hat says S/M manual sequential gear shift .
forward for up a gear, nudge back to shift down a gear

Soon have you fergettin about buyin a tractor

Yep like the mondo man say's,sports mode is good fun in town traffic, i use manwell only when orft road, have never try'd it on tarmac, great gearbox. . .

Cheers. I tried the manual and sports, the gear change was very smooth to a point i had to look at the display to see if it changed up a gear. many thanks that also put my mind at ease !
