Hi all
whilst the series 2 is still an ongoing project, i have just bought a 90 that I can drive play and do little bits to without having to take it off the road for ages. Its a bit of a hybrid, 3.9 efi Engine, auto trans and axles with discs all round I am guessing all is out of a Range Rover classic. Bloke I bought it from new nothing of vehicle history. It has a 2inch lift with yellow urethane bushes pretty blue springs heavy duty towers and dislocation cones. All seems ok ish abit of tweeking here and there. However driving it the 80 odd miles home, when coming off the gas there was an audible clunk from the drive train towards the front of the bulkhead. this happened about six times during the trip home. There was a slight vibration at certain speeds that again seemed to be from the drive train. Am I right in thinking that the props need to be changed for ones with wider angle yokes because of the lift and is there a visible part no on the current props so I know I will be ordering the the correct ones for this set up
Cheers in advance

I'd remove the front prop and run it in diff lock and see if the clunk disappears.
I had a similar problem on the rear that turned out to be the a frame ball joint and saved me doing the prop
