alright folks, last saturday the turbo on my discovery 200 tdi decided to give up and blow its seals, so ive stripped it down this week and brought a new turbo off blue beasty on here and put it all back to together fine. ive changed the oil, filters and fuel filter while it was in this state but now it wont fire, it cranks over as though it wants to but thats as far as it goes. Ive checked the battery fine, check all wiring im not stumped as to what it could be, any help we be gratefully received

as you have changed fuel filters etc could it be just an airlock in the fuel?? try bleeding the system see if that makes a difference. ron.

how do you bleed the fuel system? might sound stupid but im still quite new to land rovers

Have you knocked the wire off the injctor pump stop solenoid, easy to do, back of pump one single wire.
Should self bleed ie fit filter and start and leave to tick over for a minute or two and thats it.

Did you put the filter on empty or full, Always best to fill the filter, then CAREFULLY open the bleed nipple on the filter housing,( If like mine the bleed screw decides to **** the threads of the housing take it off and drill and tap it and cut a bolt down to fit. ) Once you have done that see if she runs
