got a 1982 series 3 n burst a pipe. its got duel circuit brakes and its the pipe that goes from the master cylinder to the little cross juntion thing on the chassis... i really want to get an mot on this in the next week or so and this is all it needs!!! please help me out what size will the fittings on both ends be! making my own pipe!

you will come across both of these threads , so if you buy both you’re covered, for speed you could take it too nearest motor factor with your old one and they should make you one up

if you are making your own pipe, can't you cut the flares off the end of the old pipe, take off the existing unions and re-use them?

I have to do that on my American truck

Just take it off, take to auto shop, get them to do it. Much easier. There is a multitude of options so even if we give you sizes, they might not be correct!

I recently replaced all my flexes on my series 3 (1981). The brake unions were a mix of imperial and metric. Ive now ensured all the unions are metric less for the ones that go into the brake cylinders which are imperial.

Hand full of each will be ok
