Hi guys, today i went to select 4 wheel low and now i cannot get any gear and i cannot select anything in the transfer box it is stuck in neutral ? any ideas on what the problem is ?

yo difflock doesnt work proper. get underneath with a pressure washer and a can of WD40

cheers will try that suggestion tomor but there is just 1 more thing when you move the diflock gear shifter it feels like there is no hi or lo gears it feels like an emty square as the the gear leaver is connected to nothing at all !

it mite be broken. I think yu can get to the mechanism by removing the centre console if a disco, or the centre panel on a defender.

if its a fender remove gearbox tunnel you will then see the hi/low shifter,the circlip may have come off and the lever isnt connected,fix the problem then apply lashings of copper grease to the mechanism

Inside the transfer box linkage mechanism on the top, there are a couple of grub screws. I've had them come loose before. Degrease, loctite and do them up again. Linkages tend to feel a bit sloppy before they finally work loose enough to disengage though.

try holding it towards the gear you want to select (high or low) with your foot on the clutch and the gearbox in gear, then keep the transfer leaver pushed (or pulled) an gently lift the clutch up, might work, might not.......
