HELP:confused: Got a discovery 2, tonight went to lock it and it wouldn't, not battery in fob and tried to reset!!! Tried several times got towed back to mine and then it decided to work!!! Any ideas why, the missus normally drives this and she is panicking that it will conk out with kids in. Could it be anything to do with rain that may have got in through the sunroof. ANY IDEAS WOULD BE GREATFULLY RECEIVED!!! Don't get this kind of trouble with the series, central locking and sensors are way out of my league!!! Thanks

Hello i can't tell you whats wrong with your fob but if you do have trouble in the future you can always use your emergency lock out code. If you have all the original docs for the car the code should be in with them somewhere. It will be a series of letters and numbers for eg 8G6D the letters also represent a number but you would have to check with landrover which leter goes with what number , you then put your key in the drivers door turn it fully to the right and wait for the horn to sound then you turn the key so many times left then back to centre so many time right back to center then so many times left then right again then the horn should sound twice you must then wait until the red flashing light on the dash stops flashing which usually takes about 5 mins before entering the car you can then put the key in the ignition the car will start and get you home. I know it,s a bit of messing around but it will get you home in emergency hope this helps .
