Hiya all,
I managed to snap rear prop shaft landing yesterday. I'm staying at the black lion pub in pontrhydfendigaid, the landlord thinks there is a breakers yard in llanilar......can anyone confirm this?
Would like to drive Strata Florida today but don't fancy it with just 2 wheel drive.
Any help would be much appreciated.

What vehicle are you driving?

What shaft is broken, front or rear?

Is it a UJ or a shaft?

You are about 70 miles from me but I do have some spare Discovery shafts if they would help? 07837 238698

Also Lampeter isn't that far from you, Gwynn lewis is near there?

I live in Llanilar (in work in Aber at the moment)
There's a great Landy garage between Llangwyryfon/Trefenter about 10ish miles from you , Birds (01974) 241457, he'll probably have a 2nd hand one there. Only thing is it's cash or cheque (no cards). Any probs just PM me.

RichP, thanks for your reply. Did go to Julian Bird in Trefenter, he sorted me with a rear prop, lent me his ramps and I fitted the prop,that place is Landy heaven.
Had a great time driving Strata Florida both ways.....and some more lanes after.

Ps Dominic landlord of the black lion in pontRhydfendigaid, was a fantastic help.....great food, beer and accommodation as well.....

Glad you got it fixed.
Julian Birds place is great isn't it. I get everything from them. Only problem is I pop up there to buy someting and end up spending hours chatting.

Yes Strata was amazing especially with all the rain we had, the bomb hole was a great water fall but still able to drive up & down it.
Julian's place is Landy heaven.
