I started off looking for a Discovery TD5 , but over the weekend I have gone and sat in a Rangie. Now I'm all hot and bothered and blown away .

I had a Rangie nearly 15 years ago , when it worked it drove like a dream but then one by one the problems came up , basically it turned into a money pit so it went.
A couple of questions has much changed , how problematic are they , which is the best model to buy and if I go for diesel can I run it on bio fuel or is that a dirty word.

Hi the RR is a nice car but they're still expensive to fix when they go wrong. I'd go for the disco, cheaper and easier to maintain. As far as I'm aware they'll run on Bio. during the design phase they ran the engine for 10k on cheap kerosene to simulate 3rd world driving conditions and it ran without a hitch.
