Hi can any 1 help pls??????? Red warning light came on on my way home today, pulled over, turned engine off started up again, no light. Drove on bout 3mile stopped at shop all ok came out of shop big old leak under disco looks like its the rear ACE pipes. Checked ACE res and its well empty. How hard is it to replace pipes and do i need to hook it up to do a proper bleed????? Any help would be greatly appreciated:scratching_chin:

Pipes are awkward sods to get at and new pipes are 2 piece rather than original 1 piece.
You can join the pipes with 10mm compression fittings. Messed around for ages with mine trying to seal up joint where the pipe fitted into the manifold under the drivers seat and eventually found the leak was where a ridge has been formed into the pipe to hold the collet on the block. Take it apart and you'll see what I mean. Leak couldn't be seen until the end actually snapped off and the you could see where it had gone porous.
Never needed to bleed the system. The air in the system works out as you chuck the car around.
