Evening all :D

My names adam, thought i would sign up and have a look round. I got into landrovers when i was about 13 and my parents got their first one. I went on to own it after them, and it ended up looking like this:

Living at the foot of salisbury plain, it was more often than not covered in mud as above.

On moving away from home into the middle of crawley, it didnt fit in my parking space and i never had the time to go offroading :( so i sold it and got a 200sx (tad faster). Anyway, in 2000 i bought this:

When i bought her she was in a sorry state, with holes i could get my size 10's in in the chassis :(. Six years have since passed, and although i fixed the chassis and put the body back on shes been sat in the corner for 3 years looking sorry for herself. I recently finished another project i had (an mr2 i blew up on a track day - oops!) so my focus has gone back to greener things

I am not sure what i am going to do to her yet, part of the reason for joining is to gleen some advice at some point. i have two possible plans, one being to rebuild her "traditionally", the other to do something landrover purists will hate and probably spit at me for, involving a jap twin turbo engine  but thats going to involve some research!

My folks have since had two more 110's, a series 2 RR DSE, series 2 disco and a series 3 disco... so were a landy family :D

So on that note, *waves*

Yeh do it man. Twin Turbo sounds good to me. A few months ago I fit a disco 200tdi in my B reg 90 and it was the best thing I have ever done. Before that I fit a Perkins 4203 3.3Liter in my series 3. Yeh its there to be done.....Get ya homework done mateyboy......then let us all see how its going. Dont forget summer is on its way.....Nowt like a Twin Turbo LWB Convertable for you and ya mates.....he he :D
