Hello everyone, my name's Julian, I live in Dorset and I currently drive a Honda CRX.

I work in the country and do a lot of dirving and have to use my own car. Its driving me mad trying to keep it clean, I have to visit farms ect.

The guy I work with (drives a 93' range rover) has convinced me to get some sort of land rover, so I think im gonna sell up and get one.

Im after a Defender of some sort, I would really like a V8 one (for the child in me ), i have a budget of around £1500.

Either that or keep the CRX for trackdays and try and get something REALLY cheap, like £300 cheap.

I dont really know.

Your budget will be stretched to get a Defnder (H-reg onwards) but you might find a pre-1991 V8 Ninety or 110.

Otherwise, you might be suprised what you can find in the way of V8 Discoverys - they go for silly money and you might even get one for £1,500.
