Hi I'm Zak, I live in Plymouth and have always loved and been surrounded by landrovers! I'm currently working on a 1969 series 2a landrover with a 200tdi in it! I used to walked past this truck every morning on the way to school and always stopped and took a look at what the guy was doing with it, watching nice shiny parts go onto it too! About 12 months ago I was passing and saw it was for sale and ever since I've been the one working on it trying to make it my own! Hoping to further my knowledge and get some good advice, cheers!

It is! Put it through the MOT last month, just really cosmetics left. Red oxide primer in a few places so looks a bit multicoloured!

Hello and welcome from me

Put some pics up, will bring back memories for me. My first landy was a 109 which I fitted a diahatsu diesel to, replacing the worn out 2.6 straight 6 petrol.
Parabolic springs and gas dampers along with the engine transformed it.
200 TDI disco lumps were going for around 2k at the time

Just like my first landy many years ago. See it's got a non standard exhaust exiting on the offside.

That is one heck of a babe magnet! I'd love an old series of some sort but they int cheap anymore. Look forward to some more pics.
