Apparently I should introduce myself here. I don't own a Land Rover (at the moment) but my son does and it's the usual "Da-ad, could you just give me a hand ..." doing whatever needs doing. My father tells me the first 58 years of parenthood have been the worst, bless him, so I still have a way to go with my own son.
He's got a 1995 Defender 90 300 TDi, 3 door van.
I'll be looking for advice, but I'll post back whatever we did to fix it.
