Hi Guys,

I'm a new Defender owner (Black 1998 TD5) (already had great help from the likes of Shifty and Fur Trapper regarding my HG failure).

Just wanted to say hi and that I am looking forward to learning much from you guys and giving input when I can!

Cheers.

S.

Cheers mate. Still stuff to do on it but looking forward to doing some green laning around the Surrey area if there are any others who take part??

On another matter... If your technique is the same as the fork/electrical socket I guess you do need the practice... I however, will pass. :cool2:

Now now Vagrent... Hush. You are amongst friends...

We can sign you up to some dating sites and have that fork and plug socket swapped out for the real thing and get those v plates off (having looked at your profile) what looks to be a very nice Defender!!

:mil43:

I will Goldi. Had a panic about security recently so have a clutch claw and a stoplock pro now bolted to her... Hoping it's enough!?!

Not sure hon, I've got an immobiliser (although currently not going anywhere) but apparently thats easy enough over ridden. Is a clutch claw one of those things that goes over the pedals? I'm sure an old friend recommended one of those once. It is worry. :scratching_chin:

Hello mate, nice car. A few of us lane around the Surrey Hills, keep an eye on the Guildford thread in the green laning section for planned outings.

I'm definitely up for some green laning so if anything happens please PM me incase I miss it. Goldi - It goes over the pedals and is £100. Its a good piece of kit even though it is a bit of chore to have to fit. I know though that having that gear fitted will make people think twice and I'm more than happy about that. People are right when they say on LZ that you spend money on your pride and joy and then disregard security. If anyone else loves my Landy as much as I do then I want to make sure it remains mine!!:mil50:
