Hi there,

I'm SD, a twenty-something postgrad student from Cheshire, but during much of the year residing in Durham.

I've been in love with LRs from an early age, and grown up with my parents' S1 Safari Disco, which they've owned since 99...I learnt to drive in that lumbering tank. It's obviously growing a bit elderly (although 185k on the clock, and not broken down yet), and I thought I'd join, as - being the most technically minded of the family (although that's not saying a lot) - I'm going to be the one asked when things go wrong...and repeated Googles for answers have repeatedly thrown up this forum as the definitive source of all LR goodness.

So hello. Incidentally, nice to see a vBulletin forum - I used to be an admin on one.

Cheers,

SD.

:welcome2: to landyzone SD.

As long as you keep on top of the servicing and stop any rust as soon as it rears its head it should go on for a while yet.
