Hi all,
Errmm... Well, My name is Lewis. I am 13, I have only just bought an N-reg Series 3 pick-up. I haven't driven it yet as the brakes need fixing but I absolutely love it. Anyway it's good to be here and I hope I can gain a good wealth of knowledge about the classic Land Rover from this site.
Thanks,
Lewis.

Welcome to the forum Lewis.
Your Land Rover must be a lot older than you!
Hopefully we'll be able to give you some advice and a few laughs as well.

Hi Grunt,
Yep, I also have a collection of vintage mowers, mostly 1920-1960 is about the time period I collect. At the moment I have about 12 but mum won't let me buy anymore. Thats what she thinks!!! :D

I've got two that are waiting to be restored both from the 50's along with a Villiers stationary engine.

Have you been to the lawnmower museum near Liverpool.

Hi Grunt,
No I haven't been to that museum but boy would I like to!!
I've only just pulled a gigantic 1930's Ransomes from a barn in Hertfordshire, so that is awaiting restoration, I am halfway through restoring a 1954 Atco motor mower, I have a 1960's Webb to get running, and a 1926 Atco Standard that needs the timing doing. All the others work fine. But this whole mower thing has kind of led me up to buying a Landy. I get the technical skill by fixing, restoring and renovating mowers, and now I've moved onto something much bigger, and I hate to say it, better!!
I love my mowers too much!!
Lewis.

Hi Grunt,
Here is a pic of that barn find Ransomes...

Have no fear the Landy will not go on hold!!

i do really do worry about your other hobby though.
never mind, you will soon have to sell all them mowers to pay for the landy parts.

Hi people,
More like sell the Landy to pay for all those mower parts!!! hahaha!! Wow Grunt, people take the mickey out of me big time because of my mower hobby but I don't worry!! Hey Bonny Baggot, My mum wanted to buy me an I Pod for christmas, but I was getting worried because to be honest, I didn't want one, I wanted something else much more... A Dennis. I sooooooooooooooooooooooo want one. I had a go on a 1935 Dennis ride on at Beds Steam Rally at Old Warden, and that just did it, I am going to get one for Christmas no matter what!!
