Hi, I've been a Range Rover owner for about 2 years now and can say I thoroughly enjoyed driving it each and everytime.
I bought it in a farm sale, an N reg. P38 V6 4.6 beast with LPG conversion. It had a new engine fitted by a dealer about 30,000 before I bought it. IT broke down the day after I bought it but the owner got it fixed for me - really good of them bearing in mind I bought at auciton.
Its been fine since (apart from some fun with the imobililser) I really don't use it enough though but its been great in the winter and my two boys love it as well. They call it 'Roo' because of the bouncey suspension.
Anyway all has been fine until this last week or so. Can someone point me in the right direction over what for me is a hurdle I can't solve.....
It has been sat for sometime and when I went back to it the battery was flat.
It started with a jump lead and ran fine for 20-30 minutes.
I switched off and tried to restart to see if the battery was charged but nothing.
In fatc not just nothing I mean absolutely diddly squat nothing - no dash lights, no central locking, nothing at all.
Even with jump leads attached still nothing.
Any ideas what I have done?
If someone did want to look I'm in Chelmsford, Essex. Happy to oblige a fellow with ample tea and cake, even a fee if the problem is in fact more than my own muppetry!
