I've just registered and not too sure how and where to post questions etc..

I'm currently over in Saudi and will be home on Fri (i hope !!!!) and have a pile of parts to fit to my freelander on arrival, disks, exhaust manifold and center section plus others.

Cant wait for the fun (efin and jeffin) to begin !!!:mad::mad:

The question i have to you freelander wizards is thus....

I have a 2003 3 door freelander kalahari, when turning corners at slow speeds, i.e on and off drive or into parking spaces or side roads, i get a ticking noise when turning.
This only happens at slow , 10mph ish, speeds in both directions and not nessasarily on full lock.
The noise is like there is a fan catching but with the hood up and turning the steering in either direction there is not a sound.

Can anyone help ?????

Thanks for the speedy replies,

In case it may help, the ticking noise is very fast, faster than the wheels are turning.

It's as if a moving part is rubbing/ catching on slow cornering.

Kind regards.
