Having serious probs with my disco 2003 td5, local garage are miffed. Drove home last week from night out , and car started to hunt at about 2800 rpm and when trying to go more than that. Got home and checked it on sunday morning, drove to garage for deisel, none , but had a quarter tank so was ok. Drove for 1 mile and car started to shudder then eventually cut out, got it in garage on monday , new fuel pump, running ok, but still wont go past 2800rpm, and dies on hills, no smoke , or reek from back end. Back in garage ecu not showing any fault , and they say they have checked wastegate and actuator[i think thats what they said]. Still the same , turbo doesnt want to lift . Garage is stumped and so am i , as the car was running fine till this , and been down to london, then back home then down to wales , no probs.. Any help would be much appreciated before i start heamoraging money to a garage that cant find a prob.. Many thanks
