Hello from oz. I have a 93 build discoveryand have just returned from central Australian desert trip. 5,500 km in ten days and lots of dust. For three days we did not exceed 40 km/hr but still managed the 500 km Simpson Desert crossing in just four days. Although the tracks are rough if you keep the pace down quite an enjoyable trip.

I now need to figure out how to split the heater air box. I have a Haymes manual but the last part does not work for me. Supposedly if the inlet air flap is rotated to one position the two halves can be parted. Mine does not allow this. Any clues from anyone most appreciated.
