Hello there,

I have a Defender 110, 2012 model, that was previously the family car, but is now mine to do with what I please. As such I am looking to take it off road to use it what it was meant to be used for.

No modifications so far, apart from a plugin ECU mapper to give more torque at low revs.

Is Green laning in Kent the way to get started and are there any recommended green lanes I should try first?

John

Welcome

No idea about green lanes in that area but in general it’s a great hobby. It’s not easy to find legal green lanes and not a good idea to go on your own. Best to join an organisation like GLASS and get access to their lane database. Also look for Facebook groups to go out with. Ours is Yorkshire Green Lanes Which is obviously too far away but we probably have some members from Kent you are welcome to join and ask

Thank you for the warm welcome, and the insights.

Not sure I will head up to Colchester to get the mapping done, but I will look locally to see who could do it in Kent.

I'll take a look at GLASS as well, great stuff, thank you.

Im in Kent, Orpington. Went there, well worth it! Though remote mapping is possible and tuning agents.
