Hello i am new to this site and was wondering if anyone could suggest what engine can be fitted to an 1989 110 to greatly improve the performance i get from the original 2.5 td.
I do not have to get an engine that bolts right in and will change the trans if required and will do some cutting and welding.

you might want to post this in the defender section. also try a search for "Defender engine swap which engine?" you'll be amazed what turns up.
