Thought I'd introduce myself. I drove a 90 for work years ago, and have hankered after one ever since!
I've finally done it. I found an ex-council Defender 110 CSW with a really good chassis & cross members and have taken the plunge. It needs a bit of TLC and it's got the usual drivers side wet footwell which will keep me entertained for a while whilst I find the source(s).
The service history is patchy (records were lost). Engine runs well, no smoke etc, and the garage I bought it from did a service but I'm planning on a cambelt & oil change shortly just to get on top of it. Sound fair? Anything else I should do at the same time? Gearbox oil?
