Hello everyone. I have just bought a 1998 Discovery 3.9 V8 50th Anniversary. We live almost on top of a mountain in southern Spain and I was wrecking my Audi A4 so it seemed a logical step to take. The car has an LPG conversion kit - under floor tanks and a switch in the car to select. However, I am not sure if it is working or not. I was told to always start on petrol and switch to gas when moving but I seem to be able to do both.
The switch seems to have LED's on it but they aren't lit up. How can I tell whats happening (apart from filling the petrol tank and driving for miles on the GAS setting to see if the petrol goes down)?
If the gas tanks are empty (possible), does the system automatically select petrol? Do I just need to put some gas in it to test it?
