Hello all,

Recently filled a long term ambition and got my first Defender 90 (2008 2.4l TDCi), based in Glasgow.

Looking forward to picking up a few tips and advice from the forum - the Defender could do with a bit of love to get it to where I want it to be!

Relatively handy with a spanner, engineer by trade and have worked on motorbikes for quite a few years.

Welcome to the site,that's a bloody good start for a first Landrover.Most people take years to work their way up to a fancy un! If you have a good look around you'll find a special defender area where there's not much the boys and girls there won't know

Diskloc is a favourite along with a pedal lock.
