I have a 2003 landrover freelander, I just bought it a few days ago it drove nice on the test run, but when I got home the cooling fans won't shut off. what would make it do this? I had to pull the batt. cable to get them to shut off. could any one help? I changed f/ switch in the lower hose it' it did not fix the problem has anyone had this happen before?

But, how long did you wait for the cooling fans to shut off? They should continue to run for a while after the ignition is off.
