Hey Landyzoners,

I've just joined this forum. I recently bought my first used Range Rover Sport 3.0L Autobiography L494.
Looking forward to getting some helpful tips to look after my latest baby I'm hoping over time I'll also be able to also make a useful contribution

I need some help please. I have a Range Rover Sport Autobiography 3.0L, L494. The deployable side step on the driver side seems to have a mind of its own...It doesn't go all the way in.... I took it to the main dealers and they said it needs a side step fixing bracket which comes with the motor. They're quoting over £600 for it and about £400 for the labour to fit it. Can I get some pointers on where I can order this to get it fitted around the Milton Keynes area? Having had a quick look online it looks like you can pick one up for between £250 -£300 for the kit. Trouble is I'm not sure if it will be the right part for my car. I'll appreciate any guidance Incan get. Thanks

I can't give you any guidance on Incan.. but if you want help with your landy then i suggest the range rover section

As our resident green person, post in the correct section. Not many here have those beasts but a lot know where to get good bits.Are you handy with spanner’s?
