Good morning everyone. I'm Joe and I live in Bo'ness in central Scotland.

I have recently acquired my first ever Land Rover, after watching jealously as my big mate built himself a sorted 110.

Unfortunately, my wife was unconvinced on the merits of a tractor, and I discovered that they were too tall to fit in the garage, so I thought that was that, no Landy for Joe........

But, a fortuitous series of events led me to consider the family friendly Freelander, and Mrs C was eventually brought round to my way of thinking!

After a few months of Internet research, I am now the very happy owner of a very nice 52 plate 5 door TD4, and I absolutely love it!

Every Friday, as soon as I get home from work, the company car swaps places in the garage with my new toy, and I've almost covered 1000 miles in the 5 weeks since I bought it.

Nothing has broken (yet!) and everything works as it should. Even though it has done 125,000 miles, it looks fab with its metallic green paint and black interior, and starts first time every time!

It's going to be with me for a long time, for towing my wee boat up to Loch Etive, taking me to my secret fishing spot on the Tay, taking my dog wherever, and making sure we never get stuck in the snow again! I'll post some pics of it later when I'm at the laptop and not on the iPhone! Prepare to be jealous of its heterosexual good looks!

Hello Joe

:welcome2:

Love Loch Etive :)

Fergusmummy likes it so much, she filled it to the brim with diesel for me on Tuesday! I only asked her to stick £20 in it!

Admit it, you want one!
