Not a new member, but new to writing anything! I've got a 2000 P38 2.5 and a 1984 Series 3 petrol. The old landy runs like a train but (and the reason I'm trawling the site) the P38 has got the non-starts! I got home from a long run and turned it off. Next morning went to start it and all lights on, engine cranking but nothing. Local garage with a hand held wotsit told me that a 'wire or sensor' was running too hot. No other clues, just that! This is a great site and (although the P38 still won't start) I've learned hundreds of reasons why it might not. Going to have a lie down now.
