Hi folks,

British expat living in Armenia here. I found this abandoned in a mechanic's backyard:

£500 later and it was mine. I know how to fix a bicycle so figured it wouldn't be too much of a leap to get a 25-year-old Defender 110 300TDi back on the road o_O

Will try and avoid posting newbie questions, but expect to hear about a few technical conundrums as I dig into it.

Cheers!

Cracking find weld done ;) keep posting your progress including how easy it is to get basic spares.

Hi there and welcome!
Hope it's not a case of... If a mechanic had abandoned it, it must be bad!!!

Well done, stick a new sturmey archer on it and away.
