I joined back in January just before I bought my Discovery 2. I then had a 'weird year' to put it mildly. As a result, I'm now a wheelchair user. Having not driven for about four months while I was in hospital, I've now had the Disco converted to hand-controls. You can see the controls next to the steering wheel.
Picked it up with the new hand controls on the Wednesday and I was out with the 4x4 club on the Thursday!

Isle of Man 4x4 Club are a top bunch of people and getting out driving with them is a big part of getting back to normal as much as possible.
Oddly enough, I don't do much of the maintenance or repairs on my Disco! In fact, I even have to get someone else to wash it after a run...
