I'm from Reading in Berkshire (Woodley to be precise) and I drive a 96 Disco 300tdi auto (import) which has recently passed the 100K mark.
I'm currently doing battle with the rear cargo door latch spring replacement which is mainly why I joined the forum.
I started the job on Sunday morning and have not yet managed to get the latch out - I'm next for the tranquilisers please
