Hi everyone. I'm a Brit living in the Swiss alps owning a 2005 defender 110. I've also a 2002 freelander, but that's just a handy 4x4 for longer journeys for us. We've a mountain restaurant & guesthouse (1800m above sea level) that has a small track, 5km long going up to it and we use the cars to get ourselves and our supplies up to it. The defender is our main car for the winter, we have to keep the track clear of snow then too, which is a challenge, but we've ordered a new plow to help with that this year! We are the envy of most people here especially as the car stands out amongst all the pickups! I am interested in cars...do lots of home DIY...handyman...but not a lot of car self maintenance. However I'm ready to try! Looking forward to discussing it all with you on the forum, and will post some deep snow plowing adventure photos in winter!
