I'm new so should really introduce myself!

I've always liked Defenders but I've developed a bit of an obsession with them over the last few years. I've now managed to scrape together enough to get one.

Found a lovely one but sadly it was not London Low Emission Zone compliant which sucks so still looking.

I'm a cop living and working in South London, I used to ride motorbikes but have since had boring cars. I love the idea of having something I can keep forever, tinker with and learn from and over time maintain and rebuild; Lego and Meccano was my toy of choice as a kid!

As and when I do find something I expect I'll be a regular on here seeking advice etc!

Try and get one with no rear windows and classed as a van.

Sadly it's the opposite, anything pre 2002 must have been built a Station Wagon, anything post 2002 already meets euro 3 emissions and is ok.
