hello all,,let me say aquick hello to all ,,,just joined landyzone my name is lee i own a y plate p38 2.5dhse black very nice ,i purchased about six month ago always like the range but never got round to getting one until now always have a few cars on the go had a omega with the 2.5 in great car brought for £300 off a customer as they wanted rid 3years ago put oil in and sold 3years later for £300 as all the vauxhall side of things was falling apart absolute great runnner engine wise ,so with a space on my drive and a ripe isa cash exchanged and i filled my gap with the 2001 p38 ,knock down in price for cash and no warranty ,great deal i thought ,chuffed with my new purchase a wash and a polish oil and filters ,boxand diff oils looked and run a treat,,,as i dont use a car every day only on my days off and then prob run around in my other car 02 pug 307 hdi,,touch better on fuel than the range,but that didnt happen pug just sits around now cant keep out the range that was until i went out pressed the remote and all six hazards stayed on??? o sugar alarm,key code,immob ,,double sugar,no eka code ??quick run up the top my road to dealer code please back home no joy ok hook up to my van towed to dealer recode please ,no probs lee leave with us 3mths later get her back feeling sorry and ££££ lighter ,,more i read and ask start to build a picture of these senstive little buggers,,,,will learn to read more before handing to dealer ok she back great up down m1 to see parents on days off no probs,then left for two days batt was low only just started?? ok check later busy nxt couple days then totaly flat ,new batt i fitted ok remove charge and test ok?? drain no..ok try starting cranks but does not fire was low on fuel when parked ok poss air,check lines no air crack pipes no fuel okpump gone down plug works laptop code 027..read some more bugger find more things about this prob ,same place outside my house again ,some one will get ther door bell or tv remote sat dish stolen if i find which one has scrammbled my becm only 11 houses in our area.......so i will purchase a sync mate asap tomorrow and hope that cures prob hope someone finds this of intrest or you may say heard it all before im not asking for fixes from all , just adding something of my own and think its rude just to ask when ne,only reason is i still like her in a sadistic way she could quite easy have ended up on ebay ,i live in newport pagnell andif any wants to use the unit when i get feel free to ask,will keep u posted on if it works rangerac...
i hope this one does not have a dark side,,,,she very tidy and clean but obviously no use if she keeps playin me up,drove to scotland today was gona take range as outlaws live in cieff can get little bleak up there 4x4 on farm no probs,had to take 307 boring but saved a morgage on fuel but no fun, 50mpg tho ,
