Hello folks!
Just to introduce myself, Mrs B in Oxfordshire with two sons 4 and 12, and various animals....owned my first Disco since last year and drove to France with the kids and an assortment of animals last summer which was absolutely great.
Recently had my wing mirror dinked by somebody passing (my fault for not folding it in on parking). The mechanism for moving the mirror still appears to work and is connected by one little wire but I cannot 'click' the mirror back into place and am not sure what is broken to prevent that. It's having its MOT this week and I'm hoping to bodge/stick it in to avoid a costly replacement. What does anybody recommend to secure it (I've been using a thick criss cross elastic band to stop it flapping for the moment but obviously it will fail MOT with that set up!)
I'd be really grateful for any help.
