hello after joining the other week, gaining some knowledge and buying my first defender here i am. But before talking about what we all want to talk about, I thought id introduce myself.
Im Andy From leicester, Plane, car and engine enthuiast althought me and the latter sometimes dont get on. Before the defender i had a nice cushy coupe, now much to the missus delight ive ive sold that and replaced it with a battered noisy Ex MOD defender 90. I travelled down to Redhill South London on saturday and drover her back. i know a bit about her history and i know she's been well maintained, if a bit rough around the edges after being stored under a tree.
ive got a bit of work ahead of me to restore her, but she runs well its just going to be fun finding some parts eg. the escape hatch latch thats broke
