Recently purchased and started resto-mod of a 1970 Series IIa ex-military Marshall ambulance that was stationed at British Army Training Unit Suffield in Alberta, Canada. This is my second Rover - I previously had a Discovery II - but the amby is definitely the more interesting of the two.

Pics to make it real...

It's a LWB chassis. They were sent from Land Rover as a partial kit to Marshall Military Engineering for fitment of the special bodywork and other modifications. Between 1,000 and 3,000 of them were built, and used primarily by British and Dutch armed services.

Love the interior colour. Painted many things Eau de Nile in the early 90s simply because it was expected on vehicle cleaning day :D
