Hello everyone! i've been having a look around and i can find anyone with the same problem, i have just bought a 95 disco v8 manual and under accelaration in 5th gear there is a noise gets up i only describe it as a quiet 'white noise' sound coming from the gearbox, my guess is a worn bearing but as i'm new to land rovers thats why i'm asking!
