hi All.
I’m Eddie
I reside on the south coast of the UK.
I’m proud owner of a 1951 series one 80”, a 3.5 V8 powered 1958 Series 2 88” pick up and a 2002 Discovery 2 15p Tedious 5.
In the past, I have worked as an Agricultural engineer and as a plant fitter. I have been confined to the office for a while now but still execute all my own repairs to my Landrover’s and car in my spare time. Other interests include Vintage tractors (have 5 of those) and clay pigeon shooting.
My Landrover’s.
The series one used to be my off-road play thing back in the day, I bought it and restored it in 1990 and used it for RTV trials, green laning and play days at local quarries and army ranges. Now it is semi retired to shows, tip runs and local hack.
The series 2 was my first ever car, purchased in 1985, and has been used for everything whilst in my ownership. It is currently undergoing full chassis up restoration.
The D2,, well what can I say. I bought it in 2012, did the obligatory cat and egr removal, I had remapped with a revolution 1 remap. It starts runs and drives as it should most of the time. It is used as a work hack, kid, dog and bike carrier and is my main tow vehicle, used for towing my vintage tractors on my trailer to steam rallies and shows and towing our twin axle grockle box about the country for family holidays.
The End.
Comes up for breath!
