Hi everyone

Joining this forum for the first time because I need some advice: I live in London within the M25 and I'm looking for a garage to do some work on my RRC. I'm cable of light lifting myself but for more involved work, and specifically anything requiring a lift, I need a garage.

Do you have any recommendations of knowledgeable mechanics? It can be outside London too, but SE preferred.

Thank you,

Alex

Hi and welcome!

I don’t live within the M25 but give it a bit more than 24 hours for a reply…

Welcome. Which part of London. It might help nail down a garage if you give an N-S-E-W direction.
I used to live down there and used a decent workshop over in Leytonstone, it was a non Landy but they did decent work.

I'm in N/W but can travel anywhere around within reason. My previous garage was in the SE, one hour each way to get to.

Hello 👋 I'm hoping you managed to find someone. London isn't an easy place for these sorts of things. I've put off buying for over 20 years for various reasons and a trusted garage is one of them. I'm still on my journey and I guess the first part is I have already admitted I have the bug but now I'm having trouble resisting the urge in buying one and the right one! All the best and nice to see someone else in the London area ( I'm over at Heathrow)
