Hi everyone,

I’ve been lucky enough to pick up 2 S3 land rovers recently:

• The first is a SWB as an unfinished project – new EVERYTHING from the ground up. I’ve just got to finish the cosmetic stuff and give it a paint job and it really will be a virtually new S3! I’ve got the choice of soft-top, hard-top or county tops too. Couldn’t believe my luck!
• The second is a 24V SWB military job – clicky pic. This is just brilliant fun.

I’m also run round in a new Disco 3 as my daily car. I’m sure you all don’t see this as a “proper” Land Rover though!

So, I come to my first stupid newbie question – the batteries on the 24V ran flat today, so I took them both out and gave them a charge. Idiotically, when I stuck them back in I connected the terminals wrongly – lots of sparks and fuses blown (I know – total prat!). The question is – where the heck is the fuse box and what fuses am I likely to need?

Great forum by the way – I’ve been “lurking” for a few weeks.

Wow how lucky to pick two up!!! Sorry can't help on the 24V system never worked on one!!
