Hi everyone, Happy new year!
The Mrs and I have been helping out a charity for dogs, mainly bull terriers.
We have 2 of our own and have now started fostering 1 at a time until they find a new home so cut to the chase. Our current car (golf mk4 gt tdi) just isn't really big enough in the boot region for all the dogs to fit in the back. So we're now in the market for our 1st 4x4 as we think this is probably the best way to go and require some advice....
We like the Defender 90's but don't know which is the best/most economical engine to go for. I currently do 16k a year roughly. I really should also mention we are looking at a budget of only £2,500 - £3,500 using our current vehicle for part ex etc.
From what I can see we're looking around 1990 era Landy so what do we also need to bear in mind for the age?
Apologises if I should of posted most of this introduction else where.
Your advice/comments will be most appreciated. Feel free to PM me.
Many thanks
