Hello there, names neil wasnt a huge fan origianlly but dads range rover is growing on my greatly, especially since his lent it to me this week made the drive down in the snow yesterday barable

anyways HELP

the faithful compainion has a cold, its a 96 [p reg] RR DSE [2.5 td bmw] Superchipped before we bought it a couple of years ago, i have had a search on the forum for info but still need help have a starting problem, [yes another one]

difficult to start at any temperature, taking a few attempts.

items replaced
Glow plugs, [myself]
Fuel filter, [garage]
Bleed lines from injectors [garage]

read about the vac/breather problem with the tank causing diesel drain back, and giving that ago this week, opening the tank everytime before i start it 1-2 success rate so far, going to check bleed lines tomorrow for leakes ontop of injectors when light tomorrow.

Whats your thoughts, have been told it could be the battery as its not a genuine RR one but the biggest baddest Halfords one as needed replacing in a jiffy 6 months ago but turns it over fine so i cant see that being the problem personally. other than the starting problem and the associated smoke when it does start it runs fine
