hiya , just registered ,I used to have a series II and got bitten badly by a baddun but rebuilt it, just dont want to go through it all again without the fun of driving it.
I have a question from anyone with advice please. I am looking at a series 3 and its been on its RHS side, now blows smoke. Is this seriouse or oil got past the pistons to the exhaust? Grateful for advice.

Hi thanks for the reply after the series 2 I got a disco Y reg with 6K on the clock . The garage had it 3 months I had it 2 weeks .
The head went at the time of the parts problems landrover had about 4 years ago and I got stuck in the middle. Maybe Im unlucky with landrovers but my son loves them and this series 3 is for him.
