can any one tell me how high the peddles should be as a tall person i am finding the peddles hardwork as they stick up a long way can they be shortened and is there any problems if i do?.

Peddle height varies series 2 to 3 Clutch peddle on series three 5 1/2" from the floor (140mm) set with stop on peddle box then recheck master cylinder still has some play. It is all in the book.

Bar cutting my head off a raised seat arrangement makes it worse my peddles are 8 inches off the floor and the accelerator has been modified and is a non standard fitting if I cut the peddles down is there any problems with doing so?

Could you not source a second set of pedals ?

Measure the travel you need, cut and shorten, then re-weld the pedal arms ...

sounds easy put like that dunt it

I know old competition rally cars used to have about an inch of play in the clutch from fully in to fully out so it should be possible. Just dont think its worth it on a series. Unless your one of the lotto winners.
