Waxoyled the car to day and pondered the problem of warming the waxoly (5L can). In the end put it in a bucket of water and then got a wall paper steam striper and put the steaming pipe in the water. Opened the lid and removed the sealing bit. Left it for 1/2 hour whilst driving the car around after Jizering and pressure washing and came back to a can of waxoyl in a bucket of boiling water with some very hot waxoyl in. It sprayed on with a garden sprayer really well, well I think so anyway!

What a messy job, and remember to wear a hat!

Also think about kids, visitors and pets around a bucket of boiling water and almost as hot waxoyl!

Just though I would pass that on.:D

Thanks Storm99, laughed at that but could also empathise. As for heating as long as non pressurised water is used surely it should not reach more than 100C. I reckon my was around the 60C when being applied.

Do I need to clean the back box though or will it burn off like oil?
