Hi, I've been fortunate enough to get my hands on a '84 series 3 109 seven days ago, it's something I've been hankering for for a long, long time, needless to say I'm like a pig in the proverbial muck.

Anyway, my first post as a series owner is my o/s windscreen vent hasn't got any air coming through (n/s is fine), any idea what it could be?

I'm planning on stripping it down over the weekend anyway but some pointers would be most welcome.

Hose from heater to vent is either missing or disconnected below dash.

A fairly common complaint, a pain in the bum to get at though..

Ah, the manuals have given me a false sense of capability then!

It looked as though it was a case of whipping the instrument panel out and the vent would be there in a it's glory! I take it that this isn't the case?
