On the way home tonight I went over a pot hole and the heater fan stopped working regardless of position! Great I thought, fuse or knackered motor, thats all I need.
Had a quick look when I got home and there is a wire and plug that had come out of the motor (located behind the centre console). On the auto it's just where your left foot would rest.
Hope that might save someone some bother - why do these things always break when it dark and freezing? :doh:
ps - my 'real' 4x4 is on its way - a CASE 856XL Plus - max speed 25 and the heater works
